Mechanical Designer
Are you a talented Mechanical Designer with a passion for construction and a flair for 3D design? Our client is seeking skilled individual to join a new team within an established and profitable company. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- 3D Design Expertise: Proficient in the use of “DAUX” software for 3D design. Ability to create detailed and accurate mechanical designs for construction projects.
- BMS Software Experience: Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) software is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to integrate mechanical designs with BMS for optimal performance.
- Construction Industry Knowledge: Understand and apply mechanical design principles within the context of construction projects. Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Contracting Experience: Previous experience working for Mechanical and/or Electrical contracting companies is preferred. Candidates who have run their own business or worked independently will be given special consideration.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into overall construction projects. Communicate effectively with team members to address design challenges and provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with “DAUX” software and 3D design.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) software.
- Previous experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical contracting companies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
