Electrical Estimator
Location: Mansfield
Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35 – 38,000
Our client is an electrical contractor based in Mansfield working with projects all over the UK. They are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join the team due to the growth of the business. This is an office-based role, however hybrid working is offered with a high degree of flexibility
Successful candidates will have previous experience with commercial estimations, Retail, Commercial project experience would be ideal.
Position Overview
- Identifying issue and return date requirements.
- Carrying out accurate take off’s from drawings and specifications
- Identifying and issuing tender and quotation enquiries to designers, supply chain members and client incumbent contractors/specialist.
- Identifying construction programme periods and identifying where applicable to Designers, supply chain and subcontractor offers.
- Identifying contract terms and conditions and where these are applicable to us and to designers, supply chain and subcontractor offers.
- Identifying and loading up preliminary costs applicable to the project.
- Cross checking bids/offers from designers, supply chain members and client incumbent contractors/Specialists to ensure that all specification requirements are met.
Electrical Estimator Position Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Electrical qualifications advantageous
