Job Title:  Commercial Account Executive

Location: Birmingham or Lichfield

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 plus commission

Our client is a reputable commercial insurance brokerage firm dedicated to providing top-tier insurance solutions to businesses across various industries. With a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, they are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to strengthen the client services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the insurance process.
  • Analise client insurance needs and risk exposures, recommending appropriate coverage options and solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Negotiate insurance terms and premiums with underwriters on behalf of clients, ensuring competitive pricing and comprehensive coverage.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation, including policy information, endorsements, and claims history.
  • Actively manage renewals and policy endorsements, proactively identifying opportunities for coverage enhancements or cost savings.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Producers to develop comprehensive insurance programs and strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide informed guidance and advice to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage, with a focus on client service and account management.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and specialty lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build long-term relationships with clients and underwriters.
  • Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
